You’ve all heard the phrase, “When Pigs Fly”.  It denotes the impossible happening.

  Well……I’ve seen it.  Pigs flying.  Them little porkers flew overhead recently with wings like angels.  They went streaking through the blue sky in formation, pulling a huge banner behind them.   What did this banner say?

 For a decade now I’ve had a saying I cut from a magazine taped to my office door.  “It is only impossible until someone’s done it”.  Well VAS Entertainment has done it.

San Luis Obispo, California (April 30, 2008) - In a quest to assemble a slate of the highest caliber action sports films, VAS Entertainment announced today that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Mack Dawg Productions for the DVD rights to their 2008 films.

VAS will be Mack Dawg’s exclusive core and mainstream distributor in the U.S. and Japan for "Double Decade" and "Down With People." "Double Decade" is particularly significant because it's Mack Dawg's 20th year anniversary film, and promises to set the bar for the coming decade of snowboard filmmaking.

The parties are also working together to develop new programming for digital platforms. Mack Dawg is creating "It's My Life," specifically for Apple's iTunes. The first episodes are planned for an August launch, and will feature the very best rider sections culled from from their storied back catalog, supplemented with current interview footage and other extras.

Mack Dawg was formed in 1988. 20 years later, they are still documenting the progression of snowboarding with the most talented riders, producers and filmers in the industry.
